Ingredients
- 2 cups All-purpose flour
- ¾ cup Unsalted butter softened
- ¾ cup Brown Sugar
- ¼ cup Granulated sugar
- 1 egg
- 2 teaspoons Vanilla Extract
- 2 teaspoons Cornstarch
- 1 teaspoon Baking soda
- ½ teaspoon Salt
- cup Semi-sweet chocolate chips
- ¾ cup Butterscotch chips
Cooking Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
- In the bowl of a stand mixer fitted with a paddle attachment, cream together butter and sugars until fluffy and light in color. Add egg and vanilla and blend in.
- In a separate bowl, mix flour, cornstarch, baking soda and salt. Add flour mixture to the dough. Stir in chocolate and butterscotch chips.
- Using a standard-sized cookie scoop or tablespoon, drop dough onto a prepared baking sheet. Bake for 8-13 minutes, until barely golden brown around the edges. (The tops will not brown). Let cool for a few minutes before removing to a wire rack to cool completely.
